You Can Do What You Want, but I Would NOT Go to EPCOT on These 4 Dates if I Were You

There are four important days that come around each year: the first day of the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, the first day of the Flower and Garden Festival, the first day of the Food and Wine Festival, and the first day of the Festival of the Holidays. Are you sensing a theme here?

Every year, we visit EPCOT on each of these days. We’ve noticed a trend over the years, and it’s time we give you a little warning. You don’t have to take our advice, but if you want to avoid crowds, you might want to listen up.

The first day of each seasonal EPCOT festival is a BIG deal. The festivals bring in new entertainment, new food, new merchandise, new ride overlays, and so much more. It’s a BLAST! But the problem is that it seems like EVERYONE wants to be part of the Day One festivities, so the park gets pretty crowded. 

If you want to avoid that kind of crowd, maybe avoid EPCOT on the first day of an EPCOT festival (and weekends, too). If you want even more proof, take a look at the Disney World wait times on November 29th, 2024 (the first day of the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays). The waits in EPCOT were pretty high!
