We all have that one Disney World ride that we love so much we’d happily wait hours for.

Most of the time, though, you won’t need to wait that long! With tools like Early Theme Park Entry, Genie+, Disney’s skip-the-line service, and strategy based on wait time trends, there’s no need to wait hours for the most popular rides in Disney World.
This week, it seems Flight of Passage in Disney’s Animal Kingdom was the most popular ride with an average of 101 minutes. Remember — this is the average wait time meaning people have waited more and less 101 minutes depending on the time.
When we look at wait times each day, we notice trends in the wait times. If you don’t want to shell out the extra money to pay for an Individual Lightning Lane at this attraction, wait times usually go down later in the day. You do run the risk of the attraction closing and not being able to ride, however, Flight of Passage does not close often for technical difficulties like others (we’re looking at you, Rise of the Resistance!).

Disney Genie in the My Disney Experience app also tells you the predicted wait time trends for the day you are in the park. It isn’t always 100% correct, but it can give you an idea.

Take a look at the rest of the average wait times in Disney World the week before Christmas!
