REVIEW: Disney World Just Dropped Some Surprising Bangers at This Limited-Time Snack Spot in EPCOT

A limited-time snack stand is BACK in EPCOT, and we’re taking you with us to try it out!

Let’s go to Grab-n-Goof!

As part of Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, GoofyCore is back in World Celebration, and that means the return of the Grab-n-Goof snack spot! This pop-up stand is located on the outside of the CommuniCore Hall building, and it has some new treats for us to try. Let’s go!

To find Grab-n-Goof, head to CommuniCore Plaza and look for the bright blue signs! It’s on the corner of the CommuniCore Hall building, near the stage where the Celebracion Encanto show takes place.

The menu here has changed up a bit since last year with some new food items, but the Goofy’s Gone Fishing beverage has returned.

The menu

First up, we tried the Goofy’s Gone Fishing in the souvenir cup. The beverage itself without the souvenir cup is $6.99 and it’s returning this year.

Goofy’s Gone Fishing

We found this to be INCREDIBLY sweet. On its own it has a blue raspberry flavor, but when you add in the fruity boba and the candy on top, this drink is sugar overload. Kids will love it probably, but adults are probably more interested in the souvenir cup…which, to be fair, is awesome.

The drink

The Chicken Goof-Ups are $5.99 and new on the menu this year. This is made with Just Bare lightly-breaded chicken bites and served with fried cheese curds and “Goofy Sauce.”

Chicken Goof-Ups

Honestly, this tasted like a Chick-fil-A meal, plus cheese curds. The nuggets are well-known online as a Chick-fil-A nugget dupe, and they were very chicken breast-forward with not too much breading. The sauce also reminded us of Chick-fil-A sauce, and the curds were delightfully cheesy and fried nicely — not too greasy. A great meal here!

They’re like Chick-fil-A nuggets!

The third thing we tried was the Goof Troop Mac Snack for $5.49. We were surprised by how big this was! These are made with fried macaroni and cheese and served with marinara dipping sauce.

Goof Troop Mac Snack

These were nice and crunchy on the outside with al-dente macaroni and a cheesy sauce on the inside. Honestly, SO yummy! We thought the marinara sauce was a little displaced — they seem to be going for a mozzarella stick vibe, but these were fine on their own without the sauce. A very good value for a snack.

Cheesy!

Finally, we wrapped up with the Gawrsh! Worms Everywhere Cake for $4.49. This is a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache, cookies and cream pieces, and gummy worms. We thought it was going to be more like a dirt-and-worms dessert situation, but it ended up reminding us of a lava cake.

Gawrsh! Worms Everywhere Cake

This was ooey gooey and not overly sweet, with some excellent rich flavors from the chocolate. The worms just make it fun! It’s similar to other chocolate lava cakes we’ve had at EPCOT festivals. It’s usually a hit for a good reason!

A pretty classic lava cake.

That’s a wrap on our review of Grab-n-Goof! This is a really great snack spot to stop this summer and pick up some quick eats.
