So many articles on wait times and genie plus lately.
I am down here now and have been since late Friday.
I have not even thought about buying genie plus or any lightening lane passes.
Examples: thanksgiving day. Into Epcot for rope drop at remy. Boarding group 12 for guardians. Also rode test track and soaring. Hung out and enjoyed the countries. Went back to room. Went for a nice dinner at Grand Floridian and then hopped over to HS. Falcon with a 35 min wait and then Rise with a 40 min wait.
Example: avatar at rope drop then safari and Everest. Some other stuff over AK also. Back to room. Out for dinner. Over to HS. Mickey and Minnie train. Falcon. Rise. In a 2 hr period.
Example. MK again at rope drop. SDMT then to space mountain and buzz. Over to BTMR and splash. HM and pirates followed by 5 other smalller rides by 1130-1145 ish.
All I’m saying is with proper planning you can accomplish a ton and not give into this paid stuff.
You got to get in early and back in at night. But get out during the peak hours. It just isn’t worth it.
Literally in 4 days we had covered every major attraction in each park. As of today we have even rode guardians 3 times.
No genie and no paid lightening lanes.
As a side note. We go multiple times a year but this is our first post Covid trip. So I feel I know how to work the parks.
But all these articles about wait times lately feel kinda like the sky is falling.
That’s all I got. Take it for what it’s worth but those are some facts above during a busy week.
