Several Disney World Rides Had Multi-Hour Wait Times Yesterday

So are the fall crowds still descending upon Disney World?

Well, if ride standby times are any indication, the answer is “yes.” There are some strategies you can take to avoid long lines, but if the more popular rides are a priority for you, Genie+ might still be the way to go.

Here’s the thing, though: Genie+ costs money, and some of the popular rides will cost an ADDITIONAL amount of money for the Individual Lightning Lane option. With crowds comes higher prices for Genie+ (as its price is determined by demand), so you’ll have to decide if it’s worth purchasing for your entire party.

Of course, you can just try to get to the parks early and ride as many things as you can before lines get really long, especially if you have access to Early Theme Park Entry. Or skip the more popular rides and hit up attractions with lower wait times.
