School is OUT for the summer around Central Florida and beyond, and that means crowds have arrived in Disney World.
There’s no denying that a busy park day can mean the difference between having your best Disney day and one that may leave you disappointed. Luckily, we’ve got plenty of tips to help you survive summer in Disney World — and as long as you’re prepared you can still accomplish a lot on your vacation. And, with Disney World only getting more crowded over the next few months, we’re closely monitoring wait times to help you stay up to date. Let’s take a look at Disney World wait times from yesterday, June 2nd!
Waiting in standby lines can seriously eat up a large chunk of your time, especially if you’re riding the most popular attractions. To avoid the lines, consider purchasing Disney Genie+ — the paid way to skip the lines via Lightning Lanes. Keep in mind though, that some rides cost an additional fee on top of Genie+.
Disney is also changing the way guests purchase Disney Genie+ beginning on June 8th, so if you’re planning an upcoming trip you might want to be aware. Starting June 8th, Genie+ will only be available to purchase on the day of your park visit (with valid park admission and park reservations!).

I don’t get it. We are forced to book a park so they can control the number of guests. Many are now paying for Genie+ to get through the rides a little faster. So why on earth are lines insanely long. The system is obviously broken. in the past, when the number of guests were up they would extend hours, instead they are closing earlier on some days. It doesn’t take an amusement park engineer to see there is a problem here. I used to gush to my friends about how efficient Disney was…they can’t blame Covid for this…i think stitch has been to too many planning meetings. Get it together for Mickey’s sake.
