Disney World Just Announced ANOTHER Hotel Closure

If you are heading to Disney World soon, there is a recently announced closure that you need to know about! Disney works hard to upkeep the theme parks and hotels, and part of that means that certain amenities might be closed during your stay.

Disney just announced a closure at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, so if you are staying here soon, you need to keep reading!

Beginning September 8th, The Samawati Springs Pool Slide at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village will be closed for routine maintenance. The waterslide at Uzima Springs Pool will still be open during the temporary closure, so you won’t be without a slide. As well, The Samawati Springs Pool will still be available for use, just the slide will be closed.

We don’t want any excited kiddos or adults to be disappointed that the slide is closed, so if someone is dreaming of a trip down a slide, make sure you head to Uzima Springs Pool and not The Samawati Springs Pool beginning September 8th.

Disney has not yet announced when the slide will be open again, but we will keep you posted as we learn more! Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is not only a gorgeous hotel, but you can also admire all sorts of animals during your stay. The hotel overlooks a savanna filled with giraffes, zebras, bongos, gazelles, and more. You never know what you might see while staying here! Plus, you will find some delicious dining options like Boma – Flavors of Africa, Jiko – The Cooking Place, and Saana.
