The Unexpected Disney World Problem That Can Ruin Your Plans

Even in the Most Magical Place on Earth, some unexpected mishaps can pop up that can potentially ruin your day — and Mother Nature is one of those things.

It’s the rainy season in Disney World, and that means an errant morning or afternoon storm can derail your plans faster than the launch on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. That’s why we recommend knocking your must-do rides out ASAP before the weather has a chance to ruin your plans — like it probably did for a ton of people yesterday.

Of course, wait times change from day to day, so you never really know what you’re going to get. Our top tips for avoiding long lines without spending any extra money are to rope drop the parks (get there right when — or before — they open), get in line during meal times or parades and fireworks, or wait until people start leaving for the night!

You can also take advantage of things like Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours, depending on which Disney hotel you’re staying at. These offerings allow hotel guests to enjoy a little extra time in the parks before everyone else arrives.
