So, now that 2025 had begun, what did the average ride waits look like as Disney World settled into the winter? Should we be worried or relieved? Let’s find out!
Let’s take a look at this past week’s average wait times.

Wait times at Magic Kingdom dipped back to “normal” levels this week, though the park was still “busy.” For example, TRON’s wait time was still nearly 70 minutes… but was DOWN from 101 minutes.
(REMINDER: Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is currently only available with virtual queue and Lightning Lanes.)
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

- Walt Disney Presents: 0 minutes

- Slinky Dog Dash: 57 minutes
Over in Hollywood Studios, times saw a dip, but the order of rides remained status quo with Slinky Dog Dash, Rise of the Resistance, and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster topping the chart.
The Muppets Planned to Have a Ride DECADES Before Taking Over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
With Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster’s imminent closure due to the Muppets retheme (read all about that right here), we have to wonder how this will impact the other rides. It has been closed for refurbishment before, but this will likely be a longer closure than we’re used to. Since it does post one of the highest wait times in the park, all of those people will be somewhere else in the park. That’s just something to keep in mind when it does close, however, no date has been announced by Disney yet.
EPCOT

- Journey into Imagination: 8 minutes
- Living with the Land: 11 minutes
- Turtle Talk with Crush: 15 minutes
- The Seas with Nemo and Friends: 12 minutes
- Spaceship Earth: 10 minutes
- Mission: SPACE: 17 minutes
- Soarin’: 25 minutes
- Frozen Ever After: 45 minutes
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure: 48 minutes
The wait times in EPCOT also dipped this week (one of the rare festival-free weeks of the park’s calendar), with Remy’s and Frozen being the only rides to top 40, or even 30 minutes.
(NOTE: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind does not currently use a standby queue, so it’s not included here.)

- The Boneyard: 0 minutes
- TriceraTop Spin: 13 minutes
- It’s Tough to Be a Bug: 10 minutes
- Dinosaur: 19 minutes
- Expedition Everest: 25 minutes
- Kilimanjaro Safaris: 32 minutes
- Na’vi River Journey: 43 minutes
- Avatar Flight of Passage: 64 minutes
Animal Kingdom’s Flight of Passage maintained its lead as the park’s busiest ride, while TriceraTop Spin saw a longer-than-normal wait…just before it closed forever! Kali River Rapids also closed for its annual maintenance.
