This Disney World App Change Makes Grabbing Park Reservations SO Much Easier!

If you need a park reservation to enter the Disney parks, then we found a change you need to know about.

EPCOT

Guests with standard date-based tickets do not need to worry about reservations; however, Annual Passholders and other select ticket holders do need valid park reservations to enter.  So let’s get into this change.

For the first time since 2020, Disney park reservations can now be made directly in the My Disney Experience App! Previously, you would navigate to the Make or Modify Park Reservations button in the app, and it would take you to a separate browser.

However, now the whole process can be completed in the app. So let’s get into the step-by-step of how to make your park reservations! First, you will click on the Plus sign at the bottom of your screen and select “Make or Modify Park Reservations,” which will take you to the screen below.

Then you click on whichever selection is correct for your party, and it moves you to the “Create Your Party” screen, where you have the ability to select who will be included on the reservation.

After your party is confirmed, you’ll be taken to the “Select Your Date and Park Screen,” which at first will look like this.

However, after you select the day you want to visit the park, the availability for that day will populate under the calendar.

Depending on the date and availability, it’s possible that only certain parks will be available for reservations. However, as long as you have a park-to-park ticket, you’ll still be able to visit your desired park after checking in at your selected park first. Once you’ve made your selection, you’ll be taken to the final confirmation screen!

Now all that’s left to do is review the information, select “Confirm Selections,” and your park reservation is made. While this system is virtually the same as when it was available in a browser, we’re excited that Disney has simplified a somewhat confusing process and now allows guests to make those reservations directly in the app.
