Crowd check! Anyone else nerd out over Disney World wait times? Even when we’re not in the parks, we’re checking wait times — it’s like living vicariously through the screen. Now, we know that spring break and the winter holiday break are among the worst times to visit Disney World due to crowds, but the recent wait time reports may surprise you.
Fall is a popular time to go to Disney World. You’ve got the Halloween festivities PLUS the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival happening in the parks, both of which attract a LOT of fans each year. In fact, the wait times on October 16th, 2025, prove that it’s a busy time to be in Disney World.
Below is a full list of wait times in Disney World on October 16th, 2025.
Magic Kingdom
TRON Lightcycle / Run hit its highest wait time of 75 minutes at two different points during the day, including right in the morning. Needless to say, rope dropping this attraction may NOT be the best time to get the lowest wait time, unless you’re able to enter right at the beginning of early entry. What made us let out the biggest sigh, though, is seeing how many closures happened in the park — EIGHT rides closed throughout the day, some of them numerous times.

Flight of Passage hit a 120-minute wait, which is not only higher than we expected for this time of year, but it happened right in the MIDDLE of the day at 1 PM. This is very interesting, as for many years we’ve seen this ride peak in the morning during rope drop, then drop throughout the rest of the day. It seems like now, many people do all OTHER rides in the park first, then hit Flight of Passage last before eating lunch, and then potentially park hopping.
