We’re at one of the hottest times of summer in Disney World, but what does that mean for crowds?

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is also taking place on certain nights in Magic Kingdom, which means the park closes early. Summer storms also continue to impact the park and ride closures. Despite all these potential issues, wait times in Disney World are still wildly high, especially for this one Hollywood Studios ride.

Peter Pan’s Flight actually had the highest wait time of the day at 95 minutes, but it was while the outdoor rides were closed due to storms in the area. Magic Kingdom had a rough day overall with ride closures, but many were due to weather.

So how can you avoid long waits for rides like Tower of Terror? Well, we strongly recommend getting Genie+ for Hollywood Studios (thanks to all the big thrill rides there), which is a great way to skip the line. You can also wait to ride closer to the end of the night (but keep in mind that the ride could go down, so you run the risk of not being able to ride), or you can rope drop it!
