Crowds are really ramping up in Disney World, and we’re keeping a close eye to see where they go, because we’ve been surprised a few too many times this year.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day crowds weren’t AS intense as we were expecting them to be, but it’s looking like that will NOT be the case for New Year’s, because crowds are already everywhere. As it turns out, the park we usually tell you will be the LEAST crowded has the highest wait time, but when it comes to what park is busiest as a whole? Well, we’ll let you see for yourself.

Magic Kingdom

TRON Lightcycle / Run hit its highest wait time in the second-to-last hour of the park day, where it was up to 160 minutes! Expect to continue to see these higher wait times throughout the remainder of this week, especially on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure often wasn’t far behind, also with 100+ minute wait times multiple times during the day, but fortunately, only The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Carousel of Progress had closures throughout the day, and each just for one hour!

Twilight Zone Tower of Terror took the top spot in this park at 180 minutes, but ONLY because of its ongoing issues, where only half the ride wants to work. The next hour, it was back down to a 60-minute wait. Rise of the Resistance got close with a 160-minute wait right after closing for two hours, but other than that, the park didn’t have any unexpected closures.
