Over 20 Rides Were Closed in Disney World in ONE Day

Have you ever gone to Disney World only to discover that your favorite ride was temporarily closed?

Well, it happens more often than you might think, and sometimes it happens very often in just one day. Yesterday, more than 20 rides were closed in Disney World throughout the day, with some rides being closed for HOURS. So what should you do when that happens?

Well, your best strategy would be to have a backup plan. Think about what your priorities are in each park in Disney World, and make a list. If one priority ride goes down, just skip it and hit up the next ride on your list. If both attractions are down, ride the next thing on your list.

The good news is that when rides DO temporarily close in Disney World, they generally reopen later in the day. So keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app to see when they reopen — if you catch the reopening early enough, you might just end up with a shorter wait.

Of course, if you’re park hopping, that could complicate things, so you’ll just have to try not to be disappointed if you do end up missing a ride because it’s temporarily closed.
