Too Hyped
Pros:
Everyone else goes to this ride…and we enjoy the rest of DAK without waits.Cons:
Just don’t love a simulator ride at all. I didn’t go to Disney to watch a screen. Happy to go and enjoy the rest of Animal Kingdom while everyone else rope drops this.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 05/06/2024

Excellent ride. Everything about this ride I love. The line theming, the ride, the seats, the fact your riding on a banshee, everything about it is great except the long lines. Be sure to get an individual lighting lane for this one. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS IS A MUST RIDE.

We had been planning our visit to the park for several months, eagerly anticipating the moment. Arriving at the park at 10:30 in the morning, we smoothly went through the registration process, which pleased us. We had purchased our tickets online, priced at $169 per person on January 2nd. Be attentive – online ticket purchases don't provide an express feature. While the park was clean inside, the overall infrastructure appeared quite dated for the considerable amount charged per person. There's room for significant improvement!
The vast queues for attractions were disheartening. For instance, the wait for Avatar exceeded three hours, and nearly two hours for the River Avatar. Even with an express ticket, don't assume immediate access; you'll still find yourself standing in line. Restaurants had daunting queues too. The safari ride left us disappointed, with a wait time exceeding 90 minutes and a sparse population of animals, rendering the park seemingly empty and unengaging.
If you believe the dinosaur attraction is captivating, think twice. After enduring a two-hour wait, the interior reveals very little of interest – it's dimly lit, and visibility of the few dinosaurs is quite poor.
The park left a highly negative impression; the price did not align with the experience. Consider twice before visiting this park. I would describe this place as a disappointment rather than an amusement.

Disney has so many great rides but this one remains my favorite. I recall the first time me and my dad rode it we got off and he said "wow, I almost want to cry for how beautiful that was." I've heard many people say the same... it's not some thrill ride, this one sticks with you emotionally in a way that no other ride has done for me. Absolutely worth the long wait times, and besides, the queue itself is an experience.
Pros:
Immersive experience, the queue line is themed incredibly, even fearful riders would enjoy it.Cons:

I was so excited to ride this as I had heard so many great reviews, but I am really disappointed in the execution. The line wasn’t too bad (60 minutes on a Sunday afternoon), but still too long to wait for this ride in my opinion. It felt like lazy ride making with the entire ride stationed in front of one screen. It felt like those motorcycle simulator rides you can ride for $2 at an arcade. Very disappointing.
The views were cool & the seat pulsing like a breathing banshee was cool but overall, the ride is way overhyped with little to no actual “ride” to experience- it was more like a 4D movie. The rooms that you walk through in line were the coolest part, which should never be the case.
I think Disney had the chance to do some really cool with this ride and absolutely dropped the ball.
Pros:
Cool views, unique seating on the rideCons:
Underwhelming, stationary “ride”, short experience.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 03/28/2023

I rode this for the first time during Princess Weekend, and I'm not a fan. I don't normally get motion sick from 3D rides, and am fine with Star Tours, Remy, and even non-3D rides like GotG. I think the setup is what affected me the most. I felt my face was way too close to the screen, messing with my perspective, and I didn't like the vehicle or restraints. I didn't really mind the back safety bar, but the front safety bar hit me in the solar plexus and I had to take short quick breathes. I also can't stand air in my face and really could've done without it blasting. I know it's part of the flying simulation, but I couldn't stand it.
Pros:
Beautiful sceneryCons:
Too close to the 3D screen, jerkyReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 03/19/2023

I live by Cedar Point and go on a lot of rides and coasters yearly, and this is definitely the best ride I've ever been on. When I got off it for the first time, my jaw remained dropped for about 30 seconds. I'm happy to keep the mystery regarding the tech of how they actually do it. We rode once after waiting in the regular line, and once after waiting 10 minutes through Lightning Lanes. A good investment, you save a couple hours for around $14. Flight of Passage really took me on a journey. I'd go back to Animal Kingdom just for this ride.
