If You Rope Drop This Magic Kingdom Ride, There’s A 75% Chance You’ll Be Out of Luck

When you go to Disney World nearly every day as we do, you start to notice that some rides have certain quirks that others don’t have.

We’ve seen how Tower of Terror often will shoot up in wait time when only half of the ride goes down, and how Toy Story Mania does something similar, but not as often. And now, we’re starting to see that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure DEFINITELY has a quirk that will affect your vacation — this ride HATES mornings.

Let’s take a look at wait times from Thursday, April 9th!

Magic Kingdom

It looks like rope dropping TRON Lightcycle / Run is a pretty popular choice in the parks right now, since the attraction had its highest wait time of 120 minutes in the second hour of the park day. However, evening wasn’t too far behind in popularity, as it hit a 115 minute wait once it was night. Fortunately, ride closures weren’t common, but we’ll say this — Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is probably going to be closed the first hour of your park day, nearly every time, so just prepare in advance.

After seeing that Test Track was having some closure issues throughout the day, we have a feeling a lot of people decided to get in line for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, which had a 155 minute wait around the middle of the day. Test Track wasn’t too far behind, hitting a 130 minute wait at the end of the day, but its multiple closures knocked it down a peg.
