A Magic Kingdom Ride Had the Longest Average Wait Time in Disney World This Week!

We’re ending a busier February than we expected to find in Disney World before those Spring Break crowds head to the parks!

And, if you are wondering what the crowds were like, we’re taking a look at the average wait times we spotted in Disney World over this past week!

Magic Kingdom

There weren’t too many changes in the wait times in the Magic Kingdom from last week. Many of the attractions sat above a 20 minute wait at places like Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh with 24 minutes and Astro Orbiter with 37 minutes.

But, the highest waits were at popular attractions like Splash Mountain with 56 minutes and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train with 73 minutes again!

Dumbo the Flying Elephant: 17 minutes
Magic Carpets of Aladdin: 17 minutes
Mad Tea Party: 16 minutes
Tomorrowland Speedway: 15 minutes

Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid: 20 minutes
Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: 24 minutes
Mickey’s PhilharMagic: 24 minutes
Haunted Mansion: 22 minutes
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin: 36 minutes
Prince Charming Regal Carrousel: 39 minutes
Astro Orbiter: 37 minutes
Peter Pan’s Flight: 36 minutes
it’s a small world: 39 minutes
Space Mountain: 44 minutes
Jungle Cruise: 39 minutes
Pirates of the Caribbean: 52 minutes
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: 50 minutes

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios was a VERY busy place to be this past week! The lowest waits were at Muppet Vision 3D with 28 minutes and Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy with 29 minutes

…while the highest waits were at Slinky Dog Dash with 65 minutes and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror with 68 minutes.

EPCOT

EPCOT had relatively normal average waits recently with the low end being at Living with the Land with 8 minutes and the higher end sitting at 43 minutes at Soarin’.

The biggest surprise was that Test Track dropped from waits over 70 minutes from last week to only 58 minutes this week.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Although it’s not a shocker that spots like the Na’vi River Journey had a 69 minute wait and Avatar Flight of Passage had a 60 minute wait

…it was a bit of a surprise that It’s Tough to Be a Bug, Kilimanjaro Safaris, and Dinosaur all had waits higher than Expedition Everest, which only averaged at 18 minutes.

  2. I have been going to Disney World since 1972. I love Disney World. I have had annual passes many times. Let me know when we can get annual passes again. We must have fast passes also. We are old in years, but love Disney.
