You also have the ability to text the WDW resorts as well. When we stayed at Disney Gran Destino at Coronado Springs in December, there is a text feature in the My Disney Experience app that you can text if you need towels, buses, pillows, anything.
You mentioned you wish that Disney do this as well; it is in the MDE app. It worked great during our December vacation.
Molly should start doing room tours at the Disney Resorts too

She did one on the Gran Destino Tower at Disney Coronado Springs.
We stayed there in December and loved it.
