We’ve seen lots of issues hit Disney World rides — storms cause outdoors attractions to close, technical difficulties cause hours-long closures, and some rides have two sides, and when one of them closes, wait times skyrocket.
However, it’s been a LONG time since I’ve seen an issue like this in Magic Kingdom. One popular Disney World attraction didn’t just have issues for a few hours. No, it NEVER OPENED.

TRON Lightcycle / Run had the highest wait time of 85 minutes, but what shocked us more was how bad some of the ride issues were. Pirates of the Caribbean was closed for the ENTIRE day, and Carousel of Progress was unavailable for eight hours in a row.

However, that longer wait time could have partly been due to ride issues, as the attraction did close for the last two hours of the park day. Tower of Terror and Slinky Dog Dash also had closures throughout the day, but fortunately each was only for an hour.
