Um…EPCOT, Are You Okay?

We’re just going to say it: now is a great time to visit Disney World. Yes, the weather is still hot and miserable, but the crowds have gone down a lot now that school is back in session for most children.

However, that’s not to say that things in Disney World are perfect right now. We’re still going to have those random pop-up rainstorms. It’s still hurricane season (and meteorologists are watching some potential storms right now developing in the Atlantic). Rides still close during the day. However, recently EPCOT had several ride closures right at park opening.

That’s right. When EPCOT opened yesterday, three rides were closed: Journey Into Imagination with Figment, Living with the Land, and Turtle Talk with Crush. Living with the Land really struggled because it was closed for two hours. It was also closed again an hour later. Frozen Ever After was closed for three hours just before EPCOT closed.

So what can you do when that happens? Well, you can’t control when rides close, but you can keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app to see when they reopen (and hope they reopen before the park closes).
