This Disney World Ride Was Down for NINE HOURS Yesterday

When we see technologically advanced Disney World rides have issues, we frown, but it doesn’t surprise us.

Rise of the Resistance, Test Track, and Frozen Ever After are some of the technologically intense rides we often see go down, but imagine our surprise when we saw that one of our favorite EPCOT rides was down for NINE HOURS yesterday, and it’s the one you’ll LEAST expect.

Magic Kingdom

TRON Lightcycle / Run took back its top spot with an 80 minute wait towards the end of the day. Pirates of the Caribbean did have a few issues throughout the day, as well as Haunted Mansion, Under The Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (because of course it did), but overall, it was a pretty great day for the park!

Test Track hit a 105 minute wait, which is a bit higher than what we’ve seen it at recently, but not totally surprising since we’re getting closer to the holiday season. However, what really shocked us was that Living with the Land was down for NINE hours straight! We’re not sure what the issue was, but we know we’d be super bummed if we got into the park and weren’t able to ride one of our favorite rides.

Tower of Terror stole the show with a 70-minute wait, and that wasn’t even due to other closures around the park, but it likely WAS due to an issue inside the ride with only half of it working, because soon after, the wait time was cut exactly in half (35 minutes), which makes more sense for this attraction. So ToT, we love you, but we ARE getting worried about you.
