Disney has been refurbishing rides left and right for the past few years, but there’s one big problem — sometimes those refurbishments don’t seem to WORK.
Or, if they do work, it takes months for the frequent closures to calm down, and those can really affect your park day. We saw it with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, have been seeing it happen for the past few years with Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and now, it seems Test Track is next on that struggle bus.
Below is a full list of wait times in Disney World on September 12th, 2025.
Magic Kingdom
TRON Lightcycle / Run hit a 60-minute wait, but that was a few hours before the end of the park day. This is a pretty interesting change compared to some of the other days we’ve seen, when guests wait until the end of the day to ride this coaster in the dark. Instead, at the beginning AND end of the day, the ride was only at 35 minutes! Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was also closed for three hours at the start of the day, which accounted for some higher wait times than normal for the attraction later in the day.

Cosmic Rewind just barely had the highest wait time of the day at 95 minutes, with Test Track not far behind at 90 minutes. However, we are concerned that both of the park’s most recently refurbished rides, Test Track (this is a NEW ride, people!) and Gran Fiesta Tour, were closed for a total of four hours (Test Track for three, Gran Fiesta Tour for one). We’re really hoping Test Track will start to even itself out, or we’re worried the holiday season is going to be especially rough.

Just goes to show again that unless you can REALLY rope drop this attraction and be one of the first in line during early entry, you may want to wait until later in the day to ride.

Yet again, today test track is down for early entry. Yesterday it was gaudians of the galaxy. The Epot park experience is horrendous. As a DVC member from the UK we visit every other year, but im seriously considering not buying tickets to the parks in 2027 as the experience is so frustrating, with wait times always being so far out and so many rides being down for referb. The Dusney Park experience has become not value for money.
What is the point of saying on property where the perks are now practically zero.
