October is a spooooky month for Disney World fans. It’s one of the best times of the year to visit the parks if you love the festive fall vibes of walking down Main Street, U.S.A.; we’ve got SO MUCH good news to tell you about this fall. In fact, there are some BIG things coming soon to Disney World, so let’s talk about all the changes coming to Disney World this October!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Ending
You have until October 31st to fit in a visit to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year — so get those costumes ready and bring a trick-or-treat bag!

The party takes place on select nights throughout October. If you’ve never been to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, it’s an after-hours event that takes place in Magic Kingdom. You can see special parades like the Boo To You Parade, meet characters like Jack and Sally from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, and so much more. Is it worth it? YES!

Minnie’s Seasonal Dine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Starting on October 12th, breakfast at Hollywood & Vine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios will feature Minnie’s Seasonal Dine. This means that instead of Disney Junior Play ‘n’ Dine taking place at breakfast, Minnie’s Seasonal Dine will take over instead. Look out for Minnie and her friends at all three meals this October (instead of just lunch and dinner).

The last day to experience the Disney Jr. Play and Dine Breakfast at this restaurant is October 11th.

Walt Disney World’s Anniversary
The official anniversary of Magic Kingdom and EPCOT is October 1st. Now, in the past, we’ve seen some MEGA celebrations to commemorate the date, but Disney has not announced any events for 2025.

That said, keep your eyes out for special offerings in Magic Kingdom and EPCOT — you never know what kind of surprises Disney has up its sleeve. Magic Kingdom opened on October 1st, 1971, while EPCOT opened on October 1st, 1982.

Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend
Be prepared! The 2025 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend is happening from October 23rd to 26th at Disney World.

This could bring extra crowds to Disney World, since all those devoted racers need a hype squad to cheer them on as they run through Disney World. Oh, and if you’re planning to participate in the race, GOOD LUCK!
