Summer crowds have finally left Disney World for the year, but with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party happening and the Magic Kingdom decorated for the occasion, we’re preparing to see crowds pick up again soon.
And how do Disney World rides handle this? Well, sometimes there are no major issues, with only a few flubs here and there. And then we have days like yesterday, where eight rides went down in Disney World’s busiest park.
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom had a rough day yesterday in terms of ride closures. Throughout the day, eight rides were closed, including Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, for multiple hours. The day started off with all of the park’s coasters down. Surprisingly, in the last hour the park was open, the highest wait time of the entire day was Space Mountain, at 90 minutes!
