2 EPCOT Rides Were Seriously STRUGGLING Yesterday

It’s bound to happen at one point during your Disney World trip: your favorite ride, or a ride you really want to ride, is closed.

Usually, ride closures are relatively brief, and you still have an opportunity to ride later. But sometimes, a ride can just have a bad day and end up being closed multiple times throughout the day. If you were in EPCOT yesterday, you might have noticed that was the case for two very popular rides there.​

Those ride closures started early, too. When EPCOT opened yesterday, both Frozen Ever After and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure were closed, so those who had planned on rope dropping these super popular rides were just out of luck.  Those rides did reopen, but throughout the day, they took turns being closed due to one reason or another (although technical issues often happen to close rides).

So what can you do when this happens? Your best bet is to keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app to double-check those closures, as well as see when those rides reopen. If you can catch a ride right after it has reopened, you may be able to get in the standby queue early enough to have a shorter wait.
