Yep, You Should SKIP the Fireworks in Magic Kingdom and Do THIS Instead

We’re going to say something that might be controversial.

But we’re going to say it anyway. You should SKIP the fireworks in Magic Kingdom. Yes, we know, Happily Ever After is AMAZING. But you know what might be even better? Low ride wait times! Yes, if you skip the fireworks for rides in Magic Kingdom, it’s going to pay off.​

Here’s the thing. Some of the LOWEST ride wait times in Magic Kingdom are when everyone has crowded onto Main Street, U.S.A. to watch the Happily Ever After fireworks show. We’re talking wait times as little as 5 minutes (basically, a walk-on). Even rides with notoriously high wait times, like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan’s Flight, are as low as 40 minutes.

Space Mountain? It’s only about a 15-minute wait. Haunted Mansion? About the same. Big Thunder Mountain? It’s at 35 minutes (and that’s probably because it’s one of the BEST ways to see the fireworks).
