If you’ve been following along with us for some time, the you probably know that we’ve been feeling some type of way about rope dropping attractions recently.
By “some type of way,” we mean that lately, we’ve not enjoyed the experience. In most cases, we’ve found rope dropping to be stressful and a forfeit of precious sleep, as you can often experience the rides with shorter waits by waiting until the end of the day. However, that strategy doesn’t always work. Let’s talk about it!
While we’d love to say that you can get the SAME experience on every attraction regardless the time of day, that simply isn’t the case. Exhibit A: Jingle Cruise!
In cast you’re unfamiliar, Jingle Cruise is the holiday overlay for Jungle Cruise that arrives each winter. Throughout the queue and and the ride itself, you’ll see festive additions that allow for a different experience that you can’t get any other time.
While Jungle Cruise is a busy attraction any time of year, it’s especially popular when Jingle Cruise comes around. While — like most other attractions — the wait times decrease significantly at the end of the day, we don’t recommend waiting until then to experience this one.
Why? Well, because you won’t be able to fully experience it at all! This time of year, it gets dark around 5:30PM at Disney World, so if you wait until the end of the day, you won’t be able to see all the details.
That being said, we do recommend rushing over to Jingle Cruise first thing in the morning. Take a look at what the wait times looked like on the morning of November 15th!
