Although the busy Spring Break season is over in Disney World, that doesn’t mean that some rides don’t have long lines.
There are still those rides that are SUPER popular that always have hour-long waits or more, but there’s one that generally has the highest wait time of all (and it’s NOT Rise of the Resistance).
When we start looking at the ride wait times, Flight of Passage in Disney’s Animal Kingdom seems to have the overall longest waits these days. There is, though, a way around standing in line for up to two hours to catch this attraction. You can purchase the Individual Lightning Lane option to bypass that long standby line.
Of course, that doesn’t help you out with other rides, but depending on your priorities, that may be the only expense you want to rack up for rides. You can choose to purchase Genie+, as well, but at the moment, it may not be worth it to bypass those few long lines for attractions included with it.
Instead, consider taking advantage of Early Theme Park Entry, which is available to all Disney World hotel guests. This will get you into the parks 30 minutes before everyone else, giving you time to knock out those rides that tend to have the longest lines.
Another option is to stay until a park’s closing time: ride times tend to be at their lowest during that part of the day.

Posting daily wait times does nothing but make visitors, especially first-timers, anxious. It is unnecessary and you will be waiting for rides no matter what you do or how you plan. I cannot imagine a worse way to visit than having myself worked up over wait times of which I have no control. Disney has done a bang-up job of creating vacation anxiety with all of the pre-planning being required, getting up at 7am for virtual queues, Lightning Lane strategies, dining reservations, park reservations that it has to overwhelm nearly everyone except those who are passholders. None if it bothers my wife and myself as we wing it everytime and it works out because we have tempered our expectations. Watching all the frantic people trying to fit everything in is sad because they are squandering a vacation worrying about missing out instead of enjoying themselves.
