Since it’s Animal Kingdom’s 25th birthday, Disney has been celebrating with special character sightings, snacks, and more. And we just had to share the newest addition to the celebration with you!
Disney World is home to all sorts of exciting rides, restaurants, entertainment, and more. But if you ask us, some of the best parts about Disney World are a little more…organic. We’re talking about all the animals at Animal Kingdom! And, we’re getting a closer look at one of the newest residents.
Disney recently celebrated the animals that have been at Animal Kingdom since the park opened and now we’ve learned about a newer addition to the family. Meet Hazelnut!
Hazelnut is a two-month-old aardvark and is the second cub born to her mom, Peanut. They just have the cutest names!
Hazelnut has been spending quality time backstage bonding with her mom Peanut and using those strong arms to run around and dig holes!

She is the cutest little baby. Aardvarks are very strange looking animals but that doesn’t stop them from being adorable 😍
