Water rides aren’t usually the most popular in Disney World during the fall and winter months since it isn’t as cold, but since people come to visit from all over the world, 60 degrees Fahrenheit may feel plenty warm enough to some people!
If you were in Magic Kingdom yesterday and hoping to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, we can only imagine how disappointed you’re feeling, because let’s just say this ride had a ROUGH day yesterday — but it wasn’t the only one!

TRON Lightcycle / Run had the highest wait of the day at 60 minutes, but Peter Pan’s Flight wasn’t far behind with a 55-minute wait! What was absolutely shocking, though, was that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure was closed ALL day. Now, this was a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party day, so we’re unable to see if it opened later in the evening, but during regular park hours and the start of the party, it didn’t open once.

Test Track had a 120-minute wait in only the third hour of the park day, but then dropped pretty drastically for the majority of the rest of the day. However, as it was closed for the first hour of the day, we can understand why it jumped up so quickly. The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and Spaceship Earth also had closure issues throughout the day, but fortunately, they were short-lived, for the most part.

I don’t know if I’ll ever get a chance to go to Disney world. But I want the current barebones empty version of Tianas Bayou Adventure ride to close both at Disneyland and Disney world. And I desperately want the Disney imagineers in charge of the ride to add more Bayou critters in the dark cave sections of the ride. I want spoonbill birds to greet us, dance for us and wave goodbye to us to the dig a little deeper song, I also want lady butterflies in the shrinking mama Odie frog section to include dancing girl butterflies like I’ve seen in the princess and the frog 2009 film and I want a new riverboat included near the end of the ride with critters like squirrels, skunks, bats, deer and a blue bird in the grand finale. Because I’m done with the barebones Tianas Bayou Adventure ride. Also I want the song almost there play at the dropoff instead. Also they should retheme jungle cruise ride and have the boat driver tell us 3 Disney film stories about the jungle book, the lion King and Tarzan. I’m done with the confusing dad jokes.
