Sometimes, Disney World days don’t totally go as planned.
It could be that a storm closes down your favorite ride for a few hours, technical difficulties make getting on a ride way harder than it should be, or maybe the summer heat is getting to you and you need to take more breaks than you originally anticipated. That’s why we always recommend having a Plan B AND C when you’re in the parks, especially when days like this happen.
Below is the perfect real-life example of what we’re talking about. Here’s a look at the Disney World wait times on June 12th, 2025.
Magic Kingdom
Well, we had high hopes that Magic Kingdom would have a good day, but alas, we were proved wrong in the first hour when the PeopleMover AND Space Mountain were both closed. Those were followed by the temporary closures of EVERY SINGLE popular ride in the park over the course of the rest of the day — Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, TRON Lightcycle / Run, Peter Pan’s Flight, AND Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Thanks to the closures, both TRON and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train tied for the highest wait at 70 minutes.
