When you’re planning a trip to Disney World, it’s a good idea to check on the latest wait time trends so you know what to expect.

We study the average ride wait times in Disney World and report on all the current trends! That way, you can be prepared for your next vacation. So, now that January 2025 is halfway over, what did the average ride waits look like at Disney World? Should we be worried or relieved? Let’s find out!
Let’s take a look at this past week’s average wait times.
Magic Kingdom
Below is the average weekly wait time for each ride, from shortest to longest wait time.

- Tom Sawyer Island: 4 minutes
- Carousel of Progress: 5 minutes
- Liberty Square Riverboat: 5 minutes
- Prince Charming Regal Carousel: 8 minutes
- Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover: 8 minutes
- Mad Tea Party: 9 minutes
- Enchanted Tiki Room: 6 minutes
- Tomorrowland Speedway: 12 minutes
- Country Bear Musical Jamboree: 13 minutes
- Dumbo the Flying Elephant: 14 minutes
- Magic Carpets of Aladdin: 14 minutes
- Mickey’s PhilharMagic: 15 minutes
- Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini: 16 minutes
- Pirates of the Caribbean: 16 minutes
- it’s a small world: 17 minutes
- Enchanted Tales with Belle: 21 minutes
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin: 23 minutes
- Haunted Mansion: 29 minutes
- Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: 31 minutes
- Jungle Cruise: 31 minutes
- Space Mountain: 39 minutes
- Peter Pan’s Flight: 47 minutes
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: 53 minutes
- TRON Lightcycle / Run: 68 minutes
As you can see, wait times fluctuated pretty interestingly from last week. While none of them increased or decreased by more than five minutes, they did shift around interestingly. We’d say that overall, the park saw a slight decrease, and it’s certainly not as busy of a season as it has been in previous weeks, but some of those popular rides still report high waits.
(REMINDER: Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is currently only available with virtual queue and Lightning Lanes.)
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

- Walt Disney Presents: 0 minutes
- Star Tours: 10 Minutes
- Muppet*Vision 3D: 10 minutes
- Alien Swirling Saucers: 22 minutes
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run: 34 minutes
- Toy Story Mania: 37 minutes
- Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway: 39 minutes
- Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: 45 minutes
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith: 54 minutes
- Slinky Dog Dash: 60 minutes
- Rise of the Resistance: 83 minutes
Over in Hollywood Studios, the most popular attractions in the park all rose pretty significantly, with Rise of the Resistance taking back the top spot from Slinky Dog Dash. As for the less popular attractions, we saw all of them decrease by a few minutes.
EPCOT

- Journey into Imagination: 13 minutes
- Living with the Land: 14 minutes
- Turtle Talk with Crush: 16 minutes
- Spaceship Earth: 16 minutes
- Mission: SPACE: 18 minutes
- The Seas with Nemo and Friends: 19 minutes
- Soarin’: 39 minutes
- Frozen Ever After: 51 minutes
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure: 56 minutes
The wait times in EPCOT all increased, some by a few minutes, but others, like Soarin’, increased by over ten! We have a feeling this is due to the beginning of EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts, so keep in mind that festivals often mean an increase of crowds in this park.
(NOTE: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind does not currently use a standby queue, so it’s not included here.)

- The Boneyard: 0 minutes
- It’s Tough to Be a Bug: 10 minutes
- Dinosaur: 25 minutes
- Kilimanjaro Safaris: 31 minutes
- Expedition Everest: 33 minutes
- Na’vi River Journey: 46 minutes
- Avatar Flight of Passage: 69 minutes
Animal Kingdom’s Flight of Passage stayed in the top spot, which isn’t a surprise to us, but almost all of the rides here had increases as well! Most rides increased by just a few minutes, but others, like Expedition Everest, had an increase of over 5 minutes.
