So we get that people will wait for hours in line for popular rides at Disney World.
Granted, many of these popular rides, like Rise of the Resistance in Hollywood Studios, and Flight of Passage in Animal Kingdom at least have queues that are partially indoors where you have air conditioning. But one Disney World ride does not, but people are still waiting HOURS for it outside in the hot sun. The thing is — you don’t have to do that.​
That ride is Slinky Dog Dash, and yesterday, that ride had the highest wait time throughout all of Disney World’s four parks. Yes, folks were waiting for up to almost TWO HOURS outside in the sun for this ride in Toy Story Land. We get it — it’s a fun ride, but we’re telling you, don’t wait that long.
Instead, consider purchasing Genie+ so you can access the ride’s must shorter Lightning Lane and spend less time in the heat with ZERO shade. Trust us on this. It does fill up quickly, so we recommend grabbing this as your first Lightning Lane of the day. Or, if you are a resort guest with Early Theme Park Entry, you can go first thing in the morning!
