How Have 50th Anniversary Crowds Affected Disney World’s Wait Times?

Disney World’s 50th anniversary has officially begun this week, and the crowds were pretty busy on October 1st!

Beacons of Magic

But, you may be wondering what the week leading up to it and afterwards were like, since the anniversary celebrations are so massive! Well, we’ve got a look at the attraction wait times we saw around Disney World during the start of the 50th anniversary!

Magic Kingdom

Despite some of the huge crowds we saw in the Magic Kingdom this past week, there weren’t any major leaps in wait times. The longest queues were at Peter Pan’s Flight with 36 minutes, Jungle Cruise with 43 minutes, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train with 46 minutes.

Disney Enchantment

However, there were plenty of wait times well under 20 minutes at popular attractions, like 15 minutes at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and 17 minutes at Pirates of the Caribbean.

  1. Trip was great , we were there the week before the start of anniversary celebration, wait times were all bare able the longest being 30-35 minutes. Park looks unbelievable looking forward to going back hopefully next September to celebrate the 50 th birthday. Ironically was there for the 25 birthday celebration.
