This Disney World Hotel Perk Might Be Our Favorite Yet

Cool KIDS’ SUMMER has officially kicked off in Disney World, and we have already been enjoying some of the fun things it’s bringing to the parks, like Jessie’s Roundup to Magic Kingdom and Bluey’s Wild World to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

However, Cool Kids’ Summer has also brought a very cool perk to four Disney World hotels: scheduled character appearances. And we’re going to tell you all about it.

If you’re looking to spot some characters at your Disney World hotel, the first thing you’ll want to do is look at your hotel’s activity schedule. You want to look for a listing for Character Appearances, which will give you the location and times you’ll be able to meet characters. Here’s what that looks like at Disney’s Pop Century Resort:

Then you just need to head to that location at the right time. We had a chance to see a few characters at Pop Century, including Mickey, Donald, and Minnie. You never know who might drop by!

Then we headed over to Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside. Note that character appearance times will vary from hotel to hotel, so be sure to check the activity schedule! Each hotel has its own fun Cool Kids’ Summer backdrop, too.

We even got a special bookmark!

There was a little activity station set up, too.

If you’re checking into the hotel, your kids can each get their own Cool Kids’ Summer bag.

We even managed to crash a fun pool party that was happening at the hotel.

We ran into some characters there, too, including Mickey.

There was also a pool party happening here, and we ran into Mickey again!

Then we were off to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Note that the Cool Kids’ Summer offerings are pretty much the same throughout the resorts. Pretty much the same characters are available, too, like Mickey, Minnie, and Donald.

Cool Kids’ Summer runs through September 8th, so if you’re visiting Disney World during that time, keep an eye out at your hotel for fun activities, character meetings, and more.
