There are so many exciting things happening right now in Disney World, and one of our most anticipated changes is arriving soon in Hollywood Studios.

New missions, themed to the Mandalorian, are being added to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, starting May 22nd. And we got the chance to go to a special preview and experience the ride a little early! So let’s dive into all the changes you can expect in this new version!
We were so excited to experience this ride today and see a fan-favorite attraction from a brand new perspective, especially since that perspective comes from our favs Mando and Grogu!

Guests have been begging for updated missions on Smugglers Run for years, and we were so excited to experience it for the first time today, so let’s get into it!

After our first ride, it is safe to say: we are OBSESSED! In this new mission, you are joining Mando and Grogu, looking for a bounty, which changes based on the mission location. If you visit Coruscant, the bounty will be an Imperial Officer, and on Endor, the bounty is a Space Pirate.

Also, Mando and Grogu are there with you the whole time! And no matter what seat you’re in, you get to see them on the screens beside you. Although we have to say this might be the biggest perk in the Engineer seat because Grogu, in his adorable chaos, keeps pressing buttons he shouldn’t, and one of them activated Comms with the Engineer.

Which means if you’re in the Engineer position, you can click a button and have direct communication with Grogu, which is the cutest thing ever! In this version, the Engineer also gets to decide which mission you will be completing. We love that the Engineer position now gets to take a more active role in the story.

You can also see the Mandalorian’s ship moving beside you and around you during the whole mission, which really helps take the immersion to another level.

We were excited for this new version, but honestly shocked at how much of an improvement this is from the original Smugglers Run.

Not only does the re-ride ability increase because of the new locations and missions, but Grogu and Mando’s dynamic is just so fun. You can’t help but just fall into the story and immersion of the experience!

Overall, Grogu is the cutest little guy ever, and this ride was awesome! We can’t wait to keep going back to try all the missions and check out more fun details.

We cannot wait for you to all experience this attraction in a few days! We will continue to update you on all the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run news, so stay tuned to All Ears so you don’t miss anything!
