Summer is Kicking Off With High Average Wait Times in Disney World

Summer has kicked off in Disney World, bringing various wait times around the parks!

And, we’re breaking down the average wait times in Disney World this past week before you arrive for your next vacation!

Magic Kingdom

Many of the wait times at the Magic Kingdom have had similar wait times from last week compared to this week. There were only a few fluctuations here and there, but the longest waits in the park were at Peter Pan’s Flight with 37 minutesJungle Cruise with 44 minutes

Splash Mountain with 46 minutes, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train with 54 minutes.

Dumbo the Flying Elephant: 14 minutes
Magic Carpets of Aladdin: 13 minutes
Mad Tea Party: 9 minutes
Tomorrowland Speedway: 12 minutes
Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini: 11 minutes
Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid: 14 minutes
Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: 26 minutes
Mickey’s PhilharMagic: 12 minutes
Haunted Mansion: 19 minutes
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin: 20 minutes
Prince Charming Regal Carrousel: 8 minutes
Astro Orbiter: 30 minutes
Peter Pan’s Flight: 37 minutes
it’s a small world: 17 minutes
Space Mountain: 34 minutes
Jungle Cruise: 44 minutes
Pirates of the Caribbean: 21 minutes
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: 32 minutes
Splash Mountain: 46 minutes
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: 54 minutes
Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover: 11 minutes
Liberty Square Riverboat: 8 minutes
Tom Sawyer Island: 5 minutes

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios saw both decreases and increases with a major drop to 7 minutes at Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy and 77 minutes at Slinky Dog Dash.

Other waits ranged from 13 minutes at Muppet Vision 3D33 minutes at Tower of Terror, and 49 minutes at the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy: 7 minutes
Muppet Vision 3D: 13 minutes
Alien Swirling Saucers: 26 minutes
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue: 11 minutes
Toy Story Mania: 39 minutes
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith: 49 minutes
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run: 44 minutes
Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: 33 minutes
Slinky Dog Dash: 77 minutes
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway: 43 minutes

EPCOT

Unlike the other parks, many of EPCOT’s wait times have continued to drop with Living with the Land at 12 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 27 minutes, and Soarin’ at 31 minutes.

But, Test Track actually jumped in its wait time now that the attraction’s pre-show is back with a queue of 77 minutes.

Gran Fiesta Tour: 21 minutes
Living with the Land: 12 minutes
Journey into Imagination: 13 minutes
Spaceship Earth: 18 minutes
Mission: SPACE: 27 minutes
Soarin’: 31 minutes
Frozen Ever After: 50 minutes
Test Track: 77 minutes

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

There were only a few increases at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but Avatar Flight of Passage jumped WAY UP with the highest wait at 80 minutes!

A few of the other higher wait times include Kali River Rapids with 28 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris with 38 minutes, and Na’vi River Journey with 39 minutes.
