Happy August! We’re reaching the end of summer in Disney World (well, the season, not the heat that comes with it), which also means that many families are finishing their summer vacations as their kids head back to school.

TRON Lightcycle / Run hit its highest wait time of 75 minutes at the very end of the day, but what’s more concerning is that six different rides had issues throughout the day that resulted in closures, but none of them were due to storms. Come on, Magic Kingdom, let’s finish the week out strong!

Test Track had the highest wait of 95 minutes, also right at the end of the day, but this park also dealt with some pretty intense closures. While Test Track did close for one hour, and other rides had some minor issues, we were shocked to see that Living With The Land, one of the most relaxing rides in all of Disney World, was closed for FOUR HOURS.

Flight of Passage hit a whopping 140-minute wait, but thankfully dropped much lower for the rest of the day. It just goes to show that if you notice a wait time that’s unusually high, it might be worth waiting another hour or two to see if it drops! Expedition Everest and Kali River Rapids struggled, likely due to storms in the area, so this may not be the park to visit on a stormy day.

Rise of the Resistance hit a 130-minute wait, which we can only imagine was likely due to the fact that a lot of the queue is indoors or under shade, and that’s essential for hot Disney days. However, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Star Tours, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Slinky Dog Dash, AND Toy Story Mania all had closures throughout the day — not ideal.
