I can’t believe I’m lucky enough to say I have been to several Disney parks around the world!

While there are many things to love about each park, Tokyo Disneyland blew me away! The resort felt like the future and the past of Disney Parks meshed together in the best way. While I knew I would love Tokyo DisneySea, there was one ride that actually changed my life.
I don’t think it’s a huge surprise that Tokyo Disney blew my mind. Growing up, I had always dreamed of going to the international Disney park, but it felt out of reach. Well, luckily for me, I have a really cool job where I get to cover all things Disney, including when they opened a brand-new land in Tokyo DisneySea called Fantasy Springs.

Fantasy Springs is inspired by a combination of Disney films, including Tangled, Peter Pan, and Frozen. While I knew I was excited to step into Rapunzel’s Forest and Neverland, I felt like I had experienced a Frozen land already during our stop by Hong Kong Disneyland, so I was excited, but it wasn’t at the top of my list.

I don’t know if I’ve ever been more wrong in my life! Maybe I’m being dramatic, but if you’re a theme park nerd like me, Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey will wreck you in the best possible way.

This ride takes you straight into the story of the first Frozen movie, but in a different way than Frozen Ever After in EPCOT. In EPCOT, the attraction takes place after the story of Frozen, but in Tokyo, it takes place during the film. This ride has next-level animatronics, stunning set design, and the kind of Imagineering that makes you stop mid-ride just to whisper “HOW?!”

Before riding, I honestly thought I’d be more excited for the other areas of the land, but Frozen Kingdom BLEW me away. The moment Anna unfreezes at the end? Quincy and I cried and were literally speechless.

Quincy and I rode this attraction multiple times, feeling more and more blown away each time. To a certain degree, I felt like I never needed to ride Frozen Ever After again. (Which I obviously have done since then, but it’s more so the thought of it.) The ride is set up to almost act as the camera throughout the movie, so you get the main point of view in each scene.

I wish I could go on this attraction daily. Honestly, I wish I could go to Fantasy Springs daily. This entire park and attraction raised the bar for what I expect from Disney. With all of the new projects coming to Disney World, I am just here to say that I am expecting a LOT.

So here’s to daydreaming about the Disney parks and high expectations. As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney news and updates.
