Guess Which Attraction Posted a 4+ Hour Wait (!!!) in Disney World

We often tell our readers that the holiday season in Disney World is one of, if not THE busiest time in the parks.

Sometimes, wait times reflect our warnings, but other times, they surprise us by being much lower than we expected. However, imagine our surprise when we checked the wait time info and saw that one popular attraction hit a FOUR-HOUR WAIT in the park yesterday, December 27th!

Here’s a peek at the Disney World wait times on December 27th, 2024.

Magic Kingdom

Despite TRON Lightcycle / Run having the highest wait time almost all day, Space Mountain took over with a 120-minute wait closer to the end of the day. However, what was more interesting was how many rides had MAJOR issues throughout the day — a total of EIGHT rides were down during the day. The majority of closures happened in the first half of the day, so if you were visiting in the morning, we’re sorry for your troubles.

Epcot

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure had the highest wait time of 115 minutes, but what was more shocking is that Soarin’ wasn’t far behind, hitting 100 minutes! This park also struggled with a few ride closures, seeing as five rides closed throughout the day, including some of the most popular.

Rise of the Resistance hit 155 minutes, which is higher than we’ve seen recently, and other rides like Slinky Dog Dash weren’t too far behind. Thankfully, only two rides closed throughout the day, which wasn’t too bad, especially for such a high-tech park.
