Test Track’s Wait Times Are CHANGING in Disney World — Here’s What That Means

Test Track has had one of the highest wait times in Disney World nearly every day since its reopening, but it appears that could be changing.

The attraction reopened as its third edition on July 22nd, and ever since, we’ve seen it have the highest wait in EPCOT pretty much every day. However, over the past few days, it’s looking like that trend could be changing and evening out. While people have been clamoring to ride the new attraction on their trips during the summer and early fall season, your rope drop strategy soon may need to change to accommodate the potential lower crowds.

Let’s take a look at the wait times for Saturday, October 19th, 2025.

Magic Kingdom

Now that it wasn’t a party night in Magic Kingdom, we saw some more stable wait time trends, especially with TRON Lightcycle / Run. It hit a 110-minute wait just a few hours before the park closed after steadily rising throughout the day. A lot of people want to ride this attraction at night, which we totally get! We are a little concerned to see that Carousel of Progress and Space Mountain had multiple closures throughout the day, but we’re hoping it was just a fluke and they both even themselves out.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Test Track both tied with 120-minute waits, which signals to us that it’s possible the newness of the third version of Test Track could be starting to wear off. For weeks now, we’ve seen Test Track easily have higher wait times than Cosmic Rewind, but now that appears to be changing. We’re also a little wary of the fact that Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure closed for the first three hours of the day, but Disney recently announced a minor refurbishment coming soon to change it to 2D, so perhaps it’ll get the break it needs.

Flight of Passage once again hit its peak wait time of 110 minutes, RIGHT in the middle of the day, which is now the norm we’ve seen for the past few weeks. If you’re looking for the lowest wait time for this ride, you’ll want to rope drop it, or wait until the very END of the park day.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Slinky Dog Dash and Rise of the Resistance both tied at 120-minute waits, which goes to show that those fall break weekend crowds are still very much in the parks. While Slinky Dog Dash and Toy Story Mania were both down briefly for an hour, the park overall saw very few issues.
