We’re Starting to Get Worried About This Magic Kingdom Ride

Disney World rides have rough days — we know firsthand, we’ve seen so many of them with our own eyes — but we’ll admit that we’re getting a little worried about this Magic Kingdom ride.​

Space Mountain is a bit finicky, having issues on and off, but we get it, it’s an old coaster. But yesterday? Well, let’s just say it had a ROUGH day.

Let’s take a look at wait times for Saturday, September 27th, 2025.

Magic Kingdom

TRON Lightcycle / Run hit a 115-minute wait right at the end of the day, which is about what we expected considering it was the end of fall break for many people. However, what really caught our eye is the fact that Space Mountain was closed for SEVEN HOURS in a row! That doesn’t bode well, that’s for sure, so we’re hoping this doesn’t mean we’ll see this attraction close for maintenance at some point soon, but if that’s what it needs to fix it up, we’ll accept it!

Flight of Passage hit a 150-minute wait around the middle of the day, which wasn’t totally shocking since the ride was closed for the second hour of the day, but it is interesting to see this attraction suddenly peak in the middle of the day rather than at the beginning. Originally, this ride would peak in the first or second hour of the day, but it seems now the middle of the day may be the time to avoid it most.
