If you’re visiting Disney World, particularly Magic Kingdom, we’re assuming that nighttime entertainment is a priority, especially if it’s your first visit.
We get it, watching the Happily Ever After fireworks is a pretty big deal if you haven’t seen them before. However, if rides are a priority for your trip, we’re going to tell you to skip the fireworks — and we’re going to tell you why.
Instead of lining up for fireworks like everyone else is doing in Magic Kingdom before the park closes, hit up rides. Why are we telling you this? Well, even the most popular rides have lower wait times right before the park closes. For example, yesterday, August 19th, the longest wait time for a ride in Magic Kingdom at park close was just 40 minutes. That ride was Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
The second highest wait time was 35 minutes for TRON Lightcycle / Run. Other rides had wait times as low as 5 minutes. So if you hit up rides during the fireworks, you’ll be able to knock out a lot of rides in a short amount of time.
