YIKES. Rise of the Resistance Had a TOUGH Day in Disney World

There are tons of popular rides in Disney World, but others are WAY beyond their lesser-known counterparts.

For example, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is pretty popular, but Seven Dwarfs Mine Train has been one of the most sought-after Magic Kingdom rides for years. Kilimanjaro Safaris is one of the most popular attractions in Animal Kingdom, but Flight of Passage continues to rack up triple-digit wait times constantly. But what happens when one of the resort’s most desired attractions goes down for nearly HALF the day?

Magic Kingdom

TRON Lightcycle / Run had the highest wait time of 105 minutes, which isn’t too high at all for the weekend right before a massive holiday. However, the park did see some difficulty with ride closures throughout the day, starting with the PeopleMover for the first 2 hours of the day, then the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel the hour after that, and at the end of the day, and finally Big Thunder Mountain Railroad closed at two different points throughout the day. And that ISN’T good for a holiday time of year!

EPCOT

Frozen Ever After hit a high of 95 minutes, which again, isn’t unheard of for this time of year, but what’s more wild is that Soarin’ Around the World hit a massive wait of 75 minutes! The Seas with Nemo and Friends and Frozen Ever After both also had issues throughout the day, which caused other wait times to skyrocket.

Flight of Passage hit a high of 150 minutes, but interestingly enough, it was towards the end of the park day, which was interesting! Otherwise, the park didn’t suffer any unexpected closures — congratulations to Animal Kingdom!

Rise of the Resistance hit a major 130-minute wait later on in the day, following massive closure issues for nearly the entire beginning half of the day. In fact, it was the ONLY ride that had issues all day in the park, which isn’t good for it being one of the most popular ones of all!
