This Disney World Ride Was Closed ALL Day And We Just KNOW People Were Mad

Not all Disney World days are made the same, and that can really depend on which park you’re in!

We often find that sometimes, one park has a great day, even when it sometimes struggles, but then at the same time, sometimes another park falls a peg. In this case, nearly every Disney World park had a great day…except for what is, arguably, the least popular one right now. Not only that, the ride causing trouble wasn’t a hugely popular ride in all of Disney World.

Let’s take a look at wait times from Monday, April 27th!

Magic Kingdom

TRON Lightcycle / Run hit an 85-minute wait right at the end of the day, which is more what we’re used to seeing, since so many people prefer to ride the attraction at night. Fortunately, the only rides with temporary closures were The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, but for once, Tiana’s didn’t start out on the wrong foot, which is an improvement in our eyes!

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind had the highest wait time of 105 minutes, but what really shocked us a bit was how many rides had issues throughout the day. Frozen Ever After and Journey into Imagination started off the day closed, but those opened up quickly, and Spaceship Earth went down for two hours. To make matters worse, all three rides, plus The Seas with Nemo and Friends, all then had issues again at the end of the day. Come on, EPCOT, let’s get it together!

YIKES, it was NOT a good day for Animal Kingdom either! Avatar Flight of Passage hit a 110-minute wait time, which isn’t awful, but not great either. The real kicker, though? Kali River Rapids was closed ALL. DAY. Yep, it didn’t open once. And with it getting hotter outside? We’re sure there were some guests who weren’t happy about that.

Slinky Dog Dash had the highest wait time of 80 minutes, which, in all honesty, is not bad at ALL! Now, while the ride, as well as Tower of Terror and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, all had an issue towards the end of the day, it fortunately didn’t affect anything too badly when it came to wait times — but that’s why we recommend NOT waiting until the end of the day to ride one of your favorite attractions!
