We Were SHOCKED by How Many Attractions Just Reported Ride Issues in Disney World

On stormy days in Disney World, it’s not uncommon to see wait times fluctuate pretty intensely as outdoor attractions close.

While we knew to expect rain and storm-related closures yesterday in Disney World, what we DIDN’T expect to see was how many INDOOR attractions struggled heavily, causing even more closures than originally planned. Here’s why you’ll want to watch out on those stormy, unpredictable days in the parks.

Below is a full list of wait times in Disney World on May 10th, 2025.

Magic Kingdom

TRON Lightcycle / Run had the highest wait time of 85 minutes, which isn’t bad considering how many ride closures there were yesterday. The park started off rough with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and  Seven Dwarfs Mine Train closed for reasons unknown, but then, storms later in the day caused FIVE outdoor rides to close. In addition to those closures, though, other indoor attractions also had issues that resulted in closures. At its worst, SEVEN rides were closed for two consecutive hours.

Cosmic Rewind had an extremely rough day yesterday with multiple hours-long closures, resulting in it hitting a 150-minute wait at the end of the day. Spaceship Earth, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and Journey into Imagination all struggled yesterday as well, and those closures had nothing to do with the weather.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom also struggled a bit due to the rain, and we saw Expedition Everest and Kali River Rapids close a few times, but what really shocked us was that Na’vi River Journey had the highest wait of the day at 115 minutes! We have a sneaking suspicion this is due to the fact that this attraction’s queue is mainly indoors, while a large part of the line for Flight of Passage is outside, and in the rain, that’s not fun.

It was a ROUGH day in Hollywood Studios, and not necessarily because of the rain. Rise of the Resistance had the highest wait time of 95 minutes (with Slinky Dog Dash only 5 minutes behind), but FOUR attractions had closure issues, and only one was due to the rain.
