I Thought This Was the Dumbest Travel Item Ever. Now I Won’t Fly Without It.

There are tons of items that I consider travel necessities. My headphones, a charging cable, a cozy blanket, a book, and my Airplane Foot Hammock! (Stick with me here!)

I had been searching for travel tools that can help on long-haul flights, and I was seeing a foot hammock over and over again. It was pretty affordable, and so I thought, “What the heck. Let’s just try it!” Little did I know this would change how I travel. This item helps to elevate your feet during a flight. 

It comes with an adjustable strap so they can be higher or lower as needed. While that might not feel like much, it helped relieve pressure on my back, waist, and butt because it allowed me to reduce stiffness in my legs. It also helped me find a new sitting position, which can be a true necessity when on long-haul flights.

You can hand this around the tray table in front of you and rest your feet as needed to rest, sleep, or just move. Before this, I was resting my feet on my personal item, which was fine, but also my dirty shoes on top of my luggage wasn’t my favorite thought. I never thought this would genuinely improve my flights, but I refuse to travel without it now!
