What’s Going on Right Now?! One of Disney World’s Most Popular Rides Just Reported a WEIRD Wait Time

The beginning of April is usually prime spring break season for many families and school groups.

On top of that, yesterday, April 4th was also the first Friday in April, which happens to be the beginning of the runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend. We were expecting MASSIVE crowds to descend on the parks, so imagine our surprise when that was the FURTHEST thing from what happened.

Magic Kingdom

TRON Lightcycle / Run started off the day with its highest wait of 115 minutes, and thankfully, the wait time dropped throughout the rest of the day. However, the PeopleMover had MAJOR issues in the first half of the day, and Haunted Mansion and Prince Charming’s Regal Carrousel decided to join in as well.

Epcot

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind had an 80-minute wait twice during the day, but honestly, that’s not too bad! Especially considering multiple rides closed due to issues throughout the day, such as Journey into Imagination, Living with the Land, and Gran Fiesta Tour.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Flight of Passage hit a high of 75 minutes, which again, isn’t nearly as bad as we’ve seen it before. But what REALLY shocked us was that at the end of the day, the attraction reported a 20-MINUTE WAIT! That is a VERY rare phenomenon. While Expedition Everest did have some temporary issues in the morning, they were quickly resolved.

In a shocking turn of events, not only did Hollywood Studios not struggle with ANY ride closures, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster had the highest wait time of 75 minutes! It’s been a while since we’ve seen this beat out the other attractions, so consider us impressed.
