An Iconic RETRO Disney Character Is Coming BACK for a Major Announcement Tomorrow

Tomorrow is an EXCITING day for Disney fans, and the best part is that you don’t have to be in a park to enjoy!

The Disney Parks account hinted that a beloved character from a long-gone Disneyland attraction would be making a reappearance tomorrow to answer some questions. That’s right, Tom Morrow 2.0 will be answering YOUR questions tomorrow on YouTube!

You might recognize Tom Morrow as the robot from Disneyland’s Rocket to the Moon attraction (he was the spacecraft mission’s director!). He was then rebranded as Mr. Johnson in Mission to Mars, which closed in 1992. Disney Parks released a hint on their X account earlier this week, which had fans speculating from the moment it dropped.

We scrutinized the video for details, focusing on all those sticky notes. On the whiteboard that lists upcoming projects, we recognize all of those, but as for the sticky notes, none of them jumped out to us, but our interest was piqued at the one that read “Do roller coasters go faster in the dark?” as well as the “Meeting Bluesky @ 2 PM” note. Disney’s definitely got some projects they’re working on that we don’t know about yet!

A few days later, Disney revealed that Tom Morrow 2.0 would be back to answer more questions about Imagineering on Imagineer That! To watch, tune in tomorrow to the Walt Disney Imagineering YouTube channel.

Many Disney fans remember Tom on Imagineer That! as kids, which, for some, inspired them to go into certain careers, or just gave them some magic at home as he showed them around the parks through their TV screens at home. We’re so happy he’s back and can’t wait to tune in tomorrow to hear what questions he’ll be answering!
