The Great Irish Hooley is kicking off at Raglan Road next week — just in time for Labor Day Weekend!

It is going to be a big weekend for us Disney food fans! August 28th will see the start of EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival, and August 29th will be the date the annual Great Irish Hooley begins. We just got a preview of what Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant at Disney Springs has in store for its 13th annual Great Irish Hooley Music Festival, and we’re going to share it with you!
If you’re looking for a travel agent to help with your vacation, we recommend our friends at Mouse Fan Travel. They’re experts in the field with over 20 years of vacation planning experience, and they can help take a bunch of the stress out of the entire booking process for you!
The Great Irish Hooley Music Festival is coming back for the 13th time for the long Labor Day Weekend, August 29th through September 1st, and we’re super excited.

The event will have lots of food and beverages for you to try, but what we’re really excited about is the entertainment. Seven top Irish bands hailing from Glasgow to Belfast, Galway to Tipperary and beyond will rock the indoor and outdoor stages at Raglan Road. We’ll be hearing traditional favorite jigs and ballads, Neo-Folk, Celt grass, and pop tunes.

Take a look at the FULL LIST of performers who will be entertaining guests this year throughout the weekend-long party:
- Strings & Things – The talented lads of Strings & Things are back for an encore on the Raglan Road stage. This fresh, high-energy Tipperary Neo-Folk band mixes trad and folk with a twist and introduces their exciting new 2025 track, “On the Brink.” Expect a raucous evening of music and song
- Bridín – A contemporary folk harpist, singer, and composer from County Sligo, Bridín carries on the tradition of Irish music into the fourth generation of her family. She has achieved many accolades, including being an RTÉ Folk Awards Nominee and winning multiple All-Ireland Titles. BRÍDÍN’s style is influenced by her natural surroundings and is deeply rooted in trad Irish music

- Plain Sailin – This dynamic four-piece Irish trad/folk band from Clare and Offaly features Ronan O’Connell (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Seamus Kinsella(Fiddle), Darragh Cuddihy (Percussion, Vocals, Whistle), and Graham Lynch (Banjo). Blending traditional tunes with contemporary genres and a signature Irish twist, the group creates a vibrant experience rooted in the spirit of Ireland
- Men of Aran – These two legends of the Irish traditional music world, Colin Farrell (fiddle & whistles) and Dave Curley (banjo & vocals), have toured, performed, and recorded with numerous traditional Irish music luminaries. They’re known for charming Raglan Road audiences with a potent mix of sublime musicianship and electric energy.

- The Byrne Brothers – Hailing from Donegal, Ireland, this multi-award-winning family band and Irish dancers have garnered much success and recognition. Luca plays accordion; Finn on banjo, mandolin, and guitar; Dempsey on bodhran and whistle, and their father Tommy plays uilleann pipes, fiddle, guitar, and bagpipes. The Byrne Brothers are known for sprinkling their infectious humor throughout each performance.
- Bean an Tí – Bean an Tí is an exciting new band from across Waterford, Kerry, Cork and Galway in Ireland. Ruby Falvey, Iona Ritchie, Éabha Breathnach, and Gráinne Ahern met while living in University College Cork. Each is a multi-award-winning singers, musician, and dancer who entertain audiences with their traditional take on old and new Irish tunes.

- Northern Crossing – This traditional Irish music ensemble from Glasgow and Belfast features Hannah McNeill (fiddle, vocals, banjo & mandolin) and Niall McIlroy (guitar, whistles, flute & vocals). Both are accomplished musicians who offer an exciting live show.
- Raglan Road Irish Dancers – The pub’s award-winning Irish dancers kick up their heels and defy gravity before your eyes. On Sunday and Monday, Aug. 31 and September 1st, the dancers will lead guests in an Irish ceili (KAY-lee) dance through the pub.

Alright, let’s talk about the main event — the food! Raglan Road will offer favorite beers, cocktails, whiskeys, and authentic Irish dishes. Fan favorites include the Pork Schnitzel, both classic and veggie Shepherd pies, the OMG Burger, and crispy beer-battered Fish and Chips.

In addition to its all-day menu, the restaurant will serve its weekend Rollicking Raglan Brunch at 9 AM on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday (Labor Day), the pub will open at 10 AM with its all-day menu and brunch specials to include The Full Irish, Hipsters Lament, and Bread Pudding French Toast. This will be from 10 AM to 12 PM.

So, when is the start time for the party? The Great Irish Hooley officially starts on Friday, August 29th at 4 PM.
